Arif Alikhan is the Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Washington, D.C.
He currently leads a team of scientists, economists, and policy experts responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and developing department--‐wide policies for DHS' counterterrorism, intelligence and information sharing, law enforcement, emergency management, community resilience, transportation and cargo security, cyber security, and foreign trade missions.
