Vanessa Haas is the Editor of the Future Actions Series – a paper series co-published by the ICSR and Eden Intelligence, featuring leading security experts analysing emerging challenges in the fields of counter-terrorism and counter-radicalisation. Vanessa is currently pursuing an MA in Conflict, Security and Development at King’s College London. Before coming to King’s, Vanessa worked for the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court from 2006-2007, drafting speeches, reports and briefings on investigations in northern Uganda, the DRC and Darfur, Sudan. From 2004-2006, Vanessa worked in the Office of the Legal Adviser at the US Department of State as part of the Career Entry Program. At the State Department, Vanessa worked on international legal and policy issues related to counter-terrorism, counter-narcotics, extradition, immigration and visa security. In 2004, Vanessa received a BA in Political Science with distinction from Yale University.
