Professor Harvey Rubin - University of Pennsylvania

Professor Rubin is Director of the Institute for Strategic Threat Analysis and Response (ISTAR) at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1974 and his MD from Columbia University in 1976. Professor Rubin is a leading expert on infectious diseases, and has served as co-chair of the City of Philadelphia's Emergency Preparedness Review Committee since 2005. He is a member of the American National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity.
