Counter-Terrorist Operations: Comparing the British and French Approaches
In his seminar at ICSR, Frank Foley compared recent British and French responses to Islamist terrorism. This assessment was based on Foley's interviews with more than 40 counter-terrorism officials in both countries. He discussed the different approaches that these governments have taken to counter-terrorism operations against Islamist terrorists and their supporters, as well as outlining the importance of the domestic political context that shapes such measures.
